Habr – Holiday gifts for the sign language community

Russian Sign Language dictionary based on signs from the SpreadTheSign project (blocked in Russia), with an improved interface and practice mode with gesture recognition

Service features

  • Over 14,000 sign videos (unique signs and fingerspelling)
  • Slow-motion and fullscreen playback
  • Multiple video variants per sign
  • Practice mode with camera-based gesture recognition

My role in the project

  • Full static frontend development on React
  • Easy_sign recognition model integration
  • Responsive design with dark theme
